A 39-year-old Japanese man had admitted to kidnapping and killing two young brothers who lived with him, and that officers had so far found the body of one of them by a river, police said today.
Akihiro Shimoyama "started to tell us he killed the two boys near the area where the body of one of them was found this morning", a spokesman for Tochigi prefectural police....
... The brothers went missing on Saturday and their presumed kidnapping has made front-page news here.
Police arrested Shimoyama on Sunday on suspicion of kidnapping the pair. The two boys and their father, Yasunori Kobayashi, 40, had lived at Shimoyama's apartment since June....
