"In my line of work I can really see just how many more divorces are taking place," he tells Shukan Bunshun. "One major reason, I believe, is because of the Domestic Violence Law enacted last year. Of course, this law works as it's supposed to in many ways (by protecting people from violent partners), but ironically it has also helped to worsen relations between couples whose marriages have already soured. An example is when a couple fights because the woman is looking to her husband for some affection. The woman stirs her husband up until he loses his temper and if slaps her around, she's automatically the winner."
Damn right she's automatically the winner... this guy is a divorce lawyer? What an idiot... words are just words... you can always walk away from an argument, but when the jackass starts swinging because he can't take the heat, then he deserves a night in the klink.
