MDN: 'Laurel and Hardy' bandits snatch 7 million yen from bank in armed heist
OKEGAWA, Saitama -- A plump man and a thin man broke into a bank here Monday morning and threatened employees at gunpoint before making off with 7 million yen in cash, police said. The men broke into the Okegawa branch of the Aoki Shinkin Bank in Okegawa at about 10:20 a.m. on Monday. One of the men pulled out what appeared to be a gun, and held up a bag, ordering employees to fill it with cash....Investigators said one of the men was plump, while the other was of slim build and about 170 centimeters tall. Their faces were covered with towels.
