Truck driver screams 'foreigners abducted me' after he slept in

KOBE -- A truck driver fictitiously told police that foreigners abducted him after he took a nap on the job, officers said on Tuesday.

But they soon felt something was fishy as the driver was not injured at all despite him saying that he was kicked out of a moving car.

After officers grilled him, the driver confessed that he had lied in a bid to cover up his sleeping in. Police plan to send the case to prosecutors...

Unfortunately I think you will see more of this.
I noticed within the last year the attitude on the train and in public has changed. The seat next to me goes unoccupied even on days when I am wearing a suit. The looks on the street like I just stomped their dog or was one of the masked guys on a beheading video.

I remember mentioning this quite a while back.

When I work in tourism back home, a japanese lad slept in and missed his early morning job. His explaination to his japanese bosses was that he had been abducted by gaijin and dropped off in the mountains and was unable to get back home. His superiors thought nothing of it and he went on working as if nothing had happened. The cops were never called of course.

It would suprise me if it was the same guy! He got away with it once so thought to try it again!

Personally, I love abducting Japanese trunk drivers and stealing their loads of er.. dried squid and packing crates. Even better, Japanese truck drivers are such scintillating sources of wisdom and folk knowledge, I would love to abduct them just to share in their witty conversation.
