As shown just above, Japan has zillion of these quake simulators that travel around Japan in trucks. Demonstrations are put on for the public and schools to promote earthquake safety like in the hapless gaijin exchange student above. I just watched on TV the new 'E-Defense' simulator for entire buildings shown at the top: Mega-kool! I wish Pongi could make a video testing it by riding out a simulated M-7 quake in it.
