If taxi drivers can come up with such an easy money making scheme, why can't I?

Taxi Drivers Getting Taken For a Ride?

Postby Blah Pete » Fri Nov 01, 2002 11:14 am

It is believed the cabbies were paid up to 600,000 yen each for putting their name on a wedding application form.

I would think that the taxi drivers could make more money off this scam. If I am not wrong a marriage visa is 3 years and once you get divorced I think it can still be extended especially if you have a kid.
That should be worth more than 600,000 yen max. Wonder what the low end was.
How much does the snake head in China make off this transaction?
