Kyodo via JapanToday: Rules revised to let foreign students teach languages in Japan
TOKYO — The Justice Ministry on Thursday revised immigration rules to allow foreign students making short visits to Japan to take on teaching jobs in Japan, ministry officials said. The revision, effective Thursday, paved the way for foreign college students staying in Japan during a summer recess to participate in language courses sponsored by local governments for elementary and high school students, the officials said.
