Asahi: Prince Hotel flagship set for luxury debut
Tokyo Prince Hotel Park Tower, the final flamboyant legacy of a disgraced tycoon, will open on Monday in Tokyo's Minato Ward. Even before the 30 billion yen hotel greets its first guest, however, the luxury Park Tower faces an uncertain future...The towering hotel has 33 floors above ground and two underground. In addition to 17 banquet rooms and 13 restaurants, it offers a natural hot spring...The Tokyo Tower, the capital's icon, and the Rainbow Bridge spanning Tokyo Bay can be seen from guest rooms on the north and south sides respectively. Charges for the 673 guest rooms are categorized into three brackets. The average price for 296 mid-class rooms are expected to range between 39,000 yen and 50,000 yen.
