Dud World War II bomb found in residential area of Naha

NAHA — A Ground Self-Defense Force bomb-disposal squad has removed an old dud bomb from a parking lot in a residential area of Ginowan, Okinawa Prefecture, police said Sunday. The rusting shell, apparently from the World War II period, was found Saturday in an apartment building parking lot by a 54-year-old man.
