MDN: Truck driver escapes injury after spectacular highway smash
A 12-meter-long container fell 7.5 meters from the trailer of a truck traveling along an expressway to a road below early Wednesday morning, but nobody was injured, police said. The 25-ton truck initially hit a sidewall of the metropolitan expressway shortly before 6 a.m., and the container...slid off the vehicle's trailer and went sailing over the wall onto a road below. Yoshio Kimura was arrested on the spot for driving under the influence as he had been drinking beer on Tuesday night at the office of a company he worked for.
