Nope tatts are hot.

According to the article the lumps go down after a few hours.

I second AK's opinion.

About the only thing less attractive than a tatoo on a woman is a penis.

Anyway, I wonder if those inflations can cause stretch marks on your forehead. That shit must really piss people off who are born with deformities.

The article says it does happen to those who do it often. Lazy buggers...read it.

I think each generation goes through that rebel stage, nothing wrong with it. Back in the 1950's Elvis shaking and grinding his hips was for along time banned on TV. Then in the late 1960's it was the mini-skirt and in the 70's, long hair, bell bottoms and high platform shoes and the beginning of punk! Spiked hair, safety pins etc., In the 80's, wind-tunnel, tested, often exotic, toxic hairdos. The 90's Grunge scene, "see how long you can last without soap!"
All that was fine and good, more power to them, but to look like a "Klingon or a Ferengi" that is their prerogative , but do they have any idea what their body will look like after all this crazy mutilation?

i've been to one of these parties in osaka, bonzin at babylon bar in amemura holds them every couple months. i didn't participate, and it's weird as hell to watch a bunch of people sit there with saline bags above their heads. when the guy presses his thumb into the centre of the inflation to create that dent, it supposedly isn't painful, but the look on their faces when they do it says otherwise. i actually felt sorry for one guy, he sat there for 4 hours with the saline drip and didn't have any any significant swelling.

it does go down after about 8 hours, the saline is absorbed into the body. as someone with a medical background though, the whole thing is just plain stupid.

That may be so, but I really do have to ask where you had your bagel installed?

I agree with Ketou, that is one of the weirdest things i have heard. I am attracted to tattoos, but good tattoos on good bodies, like a nice dragon tattoo on a skinny tanned asian girl, you got a nice set up there, and then there are ugly tattoos and ugly people, for example my own sister has a koi tattoo and it it makes sense to get a Japanese style tattoo if you nothing about Japan. And those bagel guys, ridiculous, I have seen some stupid body modifications in my life time but those take the cake.

I guess I just come from a different socio-economic background. I've found that attraction to tattoos is common among the lower classes, so you guys probably can't help it.

Was the give-away my buck-toothed wife/cousin or the constant night visits to Greji's goat farm?

Lower class? I would be pissed and go on and on about how tattoos are not about class but then again I remembered I have a sweet trust fund (thanks Grandma) and I don't have to be bothered by the likes of you.

It's wonderful you don't have any problems. I wish I could say that, but I got Ketou sneaking into the goat pen on a regular basis....

Yeah, sure you do. That's why you teach English in Japan and can't get laid. Very typical of independently wealth men.

No, it's typical of someone who is fresh out of college getting some experience, and the "can't get laid" part, I blame that on my location, but that doesn't mean I am not working the Starbucks girl.

But I got a 40 minute bus ride on top of that, and if that place didn't fucking close at 2 at night I would go more often. But once in a while seems just right with me, I usually do bar hopping in Gifu city before last bus, which is at 10:30.
