Among men, 28.2 percent said they were not interested in sex because they were "tired from work," the survey said. Among women, the largest segment, at 23.5 percent, said they find sex "troublesome."

Tired from work....more like tapped out by the younger whores they just came back home from banging.

Troublesome? I don't even know...GG, care to translate?

agreed... the cost of replacement of the broken furniture/shredded curtains is starting to eat severly on the kinky costume budget... plus the cost of a gallon of lube never stop climbing... and the waterproof vacuum cleaner always ends up clogged and unrepairable....

Yup, avoid the black and red, go for the white or 'US' version...

71Ze8mmeFWL._AA1000_.jpg

There is even a new Ice cool version to remind you that cold frigid bitch in your life...

But the dishwasher proof reusable version might be more economical in the long run, plus there is now a nice red-finished version...

The Flip holes version all have a different internal layout, all appears ok, except the silver one who looklike it wuz designed to feel like fucking Megatron...

(I wuz told...)

30% of Japanese Men “Have Never Even Dated”
Apr 3, 2013 / SankakuComplex.com (sankakucomplex has NSFW banner ads)
Findings that 30% of Japanese men surveyed report never having dated anyone in their entire lives have been causing consternation (and some relief) online.
A survey of the dating habits of some 3,600 Japanese aged 20-49 generated a variety of findings – most attention has focused on the finding that a steady 30% of both single twenty and thirty-something men have never dated anyone, suggesting a substantial proportion of Japanese are destined to eternal virginity...
...
The minimum incomes single Japanese women deemed acceptable for a marriage-worth man are as usual the subject of much derisive scrutiny:
In this case 30%-35% expected a salary of 4 to 5 million yen, and only 12% would accept less than 3 million.
The contrast between these demands and the average wages of a Japanese salaryman may explain much about Japan’s dismal marriage rates – the average salary for a man in his early twenties is 2.6 million, whilst in his late twenties it rise to 3.7 million and 4.3 million in his early thirties.

I've heard of chiko kurabe but maybe the J-men are better off with kintamakurabe

Men With Big Testicles Less Likely To Be Caring Fathers, Study Shows

those men who are eventually more involved in day-to-day child care duties — such as changing diapers, running the bath or kissing scraped boo-boos — see their testosterone levels drop more than men who remain aloof after having children.

But testosterone has many roles in the male body, so it wasn't clear whether the drop in the male hormone occurred because men were investing more in parenting than in mating.

Why have young people in Japan stopped having sex?

Ai Aoyama is a sex and relationship counsellor who works out of her narrow three-storey home on a Tokyo back street. Her first name means "love" in Japanese, and is a keepsake from her earlier days as a professional dominatrix. Back then, about 15 years ago, she was Queen Ai, or Queen Love, and she did "all the usual things" like tying people up and dripping hot wax on their nipples. Her work today, she says, is far more challenging. Aoyama, 52, is trying to cure what Japan's media calls sekkusu shinai shokogun, or "celibacy syndrome".

Japan's under-40s appear to be losing interest in conventional relationships. Millions aren't even dating, and increasing numbers can't be bothered with sex. For their government, "celibacy syndrome" is part of a looming national catastrophe. Japan already has one of the world's lowest birth rates. Its population of 126 million, which has been shrinking for the past decade, is projected to plunge a further one-third by 2060. Aoyama believes the country is experiencing "a flight from human intimacy" – and it's partly the government's fault.

The sign outside her building says "Clinic". She greets me in yoga pants and fluffy animal slippers, cradling a Pekingese dog whom she introduces as Marilyn Monroe. In her business pamphlet, she offers up the gloriously random confidence that she visited North Korea in the 1990s and squeezed the testicles of a top army general. It doesn't say whether she was invited there specifically for that purpose, but the message to her clients is clear: she doesn't judge.

Moaarrr...

Shouldn't that be re titled "Why have young people in Japan stopped getting married/having babies?"

Sure, there are plenty of prude lemurs and socially challenged j-"men" that are fun to point to everytime someone writes an article like this but there are plenty of youngins having sex....just not marrying or making babies.

saw that and thought, "how does that gel with the young lady I saw shaving her armpits and legs on the train the other night?"

she also changed her clothes from a full length dress to denim shorts and ripped t-shirt, all on the Sobu line at around 10PM.

I think the simple answer is egocentricity.

It that "admit" or just "claim to be virgin?

Postby Taro Toporific » Wed Oct 23, 2013 3:50 pm

This claims to be an additional new report (not the Japan Crush report from a couple of weeks ago or the Meiji Yasuda Life Welfare Institute's study of last April).

Almost 40% of Women Admit of being Virgin in Japan
topnews.net.nz / 2013oct22
A survey was done by the Japan Association for Sex Education. The sexual habits and dating practises of female college students were questioned in the survey. It was found about 40% of women admitted they were virgins.
The 2011 data confirmed that the increase in number of virgins had jumped to 53.2% since five years back. However, the number of single people hits a new number.
About 61% of bachelor men and about half (49 per cent) of women of 18-34 years of age were not in any kind of relationship. This increase is highest i. e. by 10% as compared to previous five years.
A different study done by Japan Crush found 30% of unmarried men have never dated a woman. The media of the country have regarded this as sekkusu shinai shokogun or celibacy syndrome. The observations made have set a concern regarding the issue in country. The country has already low population rate.

Met this guy a while back ago at a seminar... Hot ass GF (now wife), but my mate was hitting on her in front of him like a prick making it all uncomfortable for everyone. She was going for it though and passed off the number to him later.

Smart kid, but working for a loony toon boss.

Ninja Edit: So back to them numbers... ya, me and choko need to change them virgininty numbers, or put it to test.

It wasn't too long ago that pretty much every Korean girl I met claimed to be a virgin. One in her mid 20s even confided in me that she wasn't really a virgin but had to claim to be one to get married. How shocking! Less than a decade later that has totally changed. Maybe the Japanese are going in the reverse direction.

I know we all think this study sounds like bullshit and not being that interested in the subject beyond the potential for jokes I don't really have any desire to dig deeper. However, more Japanese could very well be living celibate lifestyles. The anecdotal evidence of a very small slice of the Japanese population (i.e. our experiences) doesn't mean much.

WTF? Did the Jews who run the medie decide it's wakcy Japan week or something?

The Japanese men who prefer virtual girls to sex

Unless something happens to boost Japan's birth rate, its population will shrink by a third between now and 2060. One reason for the lack of babies is the emergence of a new breed of Japanese men - the otaku, who love manga, anime and computers more than sex.

Tokyo is the world's largest metropolis and home to more than 35 million people, so on the face of it, it is hard to believe there is any kind of population problem at all.

But Akihabara, an area of the city dedicated to the manga and anime subculture provides one clue to the country's problems.

Akihabara is heaven for otaku.

They are a generation of geeks who have grown up through 20 years of economic stagnation and have chosen to tune out and immerse themselves in their own fantasy worlds.

This has given me a new game to pass the time as I wander the streets and ride the train. "Guess the virgin" Answers "not since she was 14" "no way" "hmmmmmmmmmm, well I guess so" "bet she wishes she wasn't"

this replaces my "Give boobies names game", popular names include "perky pointers" "fond memories" "Sunday jigglers" "robust defenses" "lush valleys" and "cast iron pyramids"

Having wandered the streets of Shibuya and Aoyama today I came to the conclusion that the real number is 40% of Japanese girls are ugly, and/or don't go out much.

Sex myths without substance: Mislabelling Japan

Every few months, as if to remind us what a disturbingly odd place Japan is, an alarming Japanese news story explodes online. Western media outlets clamber over each other in their haste to cover the story, with every report of bagel heads, snail facials or ritual head shaving being used as further evidence of a unique Japanese weirdness. A lack of understanding (and, sometimes, basic fact-checking) means that entire stories are lifted, often without critique, and churned into dubious clickbait. Earlier this year, widespread coverage of a supposed eyeball-licking epidemic among Japanese teens that turned out to be a hoax left more than a few editors red-faced.

This round was kicked off with an article in the Guardian looking at reasons behind Japan's rapidly declining population. Since then, sound-bites have been repeated and distorted, and the spiralling birth rate figures have become a hook for a spate of ill-informed, voyeuristic articles that fail to note that the 'weirdness' they see before them is far from representative.

TIME asked whether millions of young people are eschewing sex because they'd rather "manage a virtual candy store in a video game". Vice segued into an exposé of Japan's sex and love industry, taking time to name check "a generation of men obsessed with virtual reality and so intimidated by real women that they prefer cyber girlfriends". They explored 'cuddle cafes', sex dolls, services where you can pay to go on a date with someone dressed as an anime character – all niche industries that would be met with the same bemusement and derision by the average Japanese 20-something that some foreign journalists reserve for East Asia.

Coverage peaked last Thursday, with a BBC2 documentary entitled 'No sex please, we're Japanese'. While there was some good reporting on what a shrinking society means for Japan, it was almost entirely undermined by an apparent determination to blame "a generation that has never had to grow up".

I dunno, I see some pretty fugly J-mamas all the time on the train. I'm not sure I buy the whole 40% virgin stats but from my personal experience, I'd definitely say more and more lemurs put off marriage til they're past an age that their ideal husbands are interested. Definitely not uniquely a Japanese phenomenon but in a male dominated society that values innocence, pureness, youth and child-like cuteness over maturity, I'd say the odds are more against them than in other countries.

Hahaha, this reminds me of that joke a friend of mine told me. What do J-girls and Christmas Cakes have in common??? Who the hell wants one after their 25th.

Dood,

When we consider that the joke itself is more than 25 years old................... :biggrin2:

I always liked that one. It is a very clever take, allowing that whomever thought of it must be shockingly sexist  Shockingly.............not that I am trying to argue that a joke is ruined simply because of a nasty premise.

BTW, great article posted above that talks about the trope of Japanese weirdness. I am constantly aggravated and bemused by that one. Nice that she blames it mostly on shoddy reporting. Most non-economic/financial articles in The Economist come to mind as well. It really is a haven for bad journalism.

Yep that sounds about right. I don't always agree with his sentiment, plenty of lemurs look like they have good millage left on them after the 25th. But then again I'm not a J-guy and don't really have the same "refined" tastes.
