Resigning, not resigning - what is it at the moment? He says he is resigning, then says he isn't.. says he is guilty, then says that he isn't... but he is 100% NOT GAY. me thinks he doth protest too much.

Apparently it is not resigning at the moment. The last press conference had him saying that "tip toeing through the toilets" shouldn't be an offense and he was going to try to get his plea changed, or set aside.

He may have some legal precedent in that his plea is not of the nature that should be subject to report to the senate. They will look at it from the ethics side, but they really don't have a case against him to prove him a rope skipper.

However, having said that, does he really want to stay with the coverage this has been given? He said it himself, in that even if it is not true and was a total mistake (hmm?), would he be able to still function as a senator?

I doubt it, but then again how many senators function anyway!

Who he pokes and where really doesn't have much bearing on his ability to be trusted as a Senator - albeit a hypocritical one. It is the attempt to pervert the course of justice that really speak volumes.

He is spending more time trying to keep his job than doing his job.
