Yeah, but only when they do the perfecting themselves. Can't trust an FG to do it. I'm sure every FG who writes or translates here for a living has at some point had a J-perfectionist with at best a feeble grasp of Japanese high-school level engrish "correct" their carefully constructed prose before it goes to print. :wall:

Would it not be "Pour Mansion" in that case? ;)
Never criticize anyone until you've walked several kilometres in their shoes.
Because

1. You're now several kilometres away; and

2. You've got their shoes.

Sorry to be anal, but is this Engrish? I would have thought it would be a case of Flancais (as opposed to Francais).

My question is, which language did they fuck up and what was their intended meaning?
I will not abide ignorant intolerance just for the sake of getting along.

ehh... pour homme mean for men...
For the house, pour la maison, but the 'mercantile' term would be "linge de maison" (house wear, like sportswear, NOT houseware like hardware)

Plastic is still 'plane-ing' I think...

yeah, you're right there. i tried to help my former business partner with her use of 'the' and 'a' and she always used to say i was wrong. i did finally give up. so for nearly 5 years she would remind me to pay a rent and that she was taking the holiday.

That usage might actually be appropriate in Japan given how infrequently some people take holidays.

Yep. Frustrating as it is, I wouldn't have it any other way. Those morons are what keep me in business, because whenever some of their "corrected" crap goes out the door the mistakes they've added get brought to light immediately, much to their embarrassment.

So they keep coming back for another round, but never learn their lesson. Much like my ex-girlfriend.
I have a blog. Last update: August 18, 2013.
