Speaking of dirty laundry, I heard Asian international students in the US talk about how the Japanese will wear the same clothes two days in a row. They all seemed to think it was pretty gross. I've never really noticed one way or the other but it seems to be a stereotype that they have. I'd call them the French of the Orient but it took two nukes to make them surrender (it only took a parade for the French). The Japs might have little tiny balls but at least they got 'em!

They're not necessarily one night stands, just lemurs that underestimated me

(uniforms...now that's an idea! Problem is I like variety so I'd need a collection that included every size known to man...well, except fat sizing, I learned my lesson with that already. Poor air mattress didn't stand a chance!)

Indeed....though if the d00d was a visa over stayer at the time of the crime, he totally helped Japan fuck himself. (in Japan's eyes anyways)

I don't know the detailed ins and outs, but find it quite wrong that they can effectively imprison a chap for 15 years for overstaying his visa. Wrongful imprisonment should typically see the victim being compensated for his troubles. It seems to me that his immediate deportation over the invalid visa is a really shoddy way to treat a man. They really did fuck him over on that.

You're missing the point.

He was imprisoned for murder in a decision that a lot of people thought was shady. He happened to be an over stayer too. Now that his case has finally been reopened, they've decided to deport him. That's a great way to avoid losing a retrial.

He was imprisoned for the murder, not the visa overstay though...and yes, wrongful imprisonment sucks. He should be compensated something like 3~4x his wages for every year he was locked up...but just saying if the dood's visa was expired at the time of the incident, he gave Japan (in their minds anyways) a reason to pull this bullshit on him. The rest of the world won't likely approve but like anything else, Japan takes the Vegas saying and goes with it. What happens in Japan, stays in Japan. (except visa overstayers)
