Japan's parliament has passed a bill calling for economic sanctions against North Korea unless a dispute over kidnapped Japanese citizens is solved.

A handful of J-people are kindnapped back in the 60s....and the LDP goes loonuy.
while Japan whitewashes the history of thousands of Asians and Koreans who were worked to death under fascist slavery or gang raped by Japan's imperial army

The J-folk are like a bunch of school children who are secretly videotaped while the teacher is out of the room. Most will misbehave, and some will go absolutely nuts and fight, break things and throw books all over the classroom. Yet, when the teacher returns and asks who made the mess, everyone will look down and act as if they haven't a clue. "Not me! It was somebody else that did those terrible things!" they will invariably say.
The Japanese animesia ? but of course let us no forget the some 200,000 or more Asian women, mainly Koreans, who were forced to serve in WWII Japanese, military brothels so their gang-raping soldiers could get their jollies, and of course the Japanese have no idea of the serious crimes committed by imperial fascists who burned and looted most of Asia or the attrocties of their grandfathers in far off places like China, Korea, and the Philippines. Japanese movies constantly reinforce the notion that "heroic" Japan was fighting to free Asia from the 'evil Western' powers.

Ahh, do you mean that you think Dear Leader would fire a missle in the direction of other countries?

Question:
Now, I ask you, does this kind and passionate leader of the happy, prosperous and glorius people of the Peoples' Democratic Republic (give or take a few starved dessenters), strike you as a maniac who would want to stick a nuke tipped up your bung?

North Korea says US flew 170 spy missions against it in September
http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2006/09/30/asia/AS_GEN_NKorea_US_Spy_Flights.php
North Korea routinely says the U.S. conducts aerial espionage, issuing a tally of such flights at the end of every month. The U.S. military doesn't comment, but acknowledges monitoring the North's military activity.

South Korean president refuses Abe's request for joint condemnation of North Korea
http://mdn.mainichi-msn.co.jp/national/news/20061011p2a00m0na004000c.html
South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun talked about his views on the history of Japan's wartime atrocities for 40 minutes during talks with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Seoul on Monday, forcing them to abandon a joint statement, entourage sources said.
Roh refused Abe's request to issue a joint statement condemning North Korea for its alleged nuclear test, according to the sources. The South Korean leader then talked for 40 minutes about his views on the history of Japan's atrocities during World War II and visits by Japanese politicians to the controversial Yasukuni Shrine.

Japan warns it may shoot down North Korean satellite launcher
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/mar/13/north-korea-japan-nuclear-missile
Japan today threatened to shoot down a satellite that North Korea plans to launch early next month if it shows any signs of striking its territory.

Tokyo's warning that it would deploy its multibillion-dollar missile defence system raised tensions in the region after North Korea said that it had identified a potential "danger area" near Japanese territory along the rocket's flight path.

The regime told the International Maritime Organisation that the missile would be launched during daylight between 4 and 8 April, and that its boosters would fall into the Sea of Japan – about 75 miles (120km) from Japan's north-west coast – and the Pacific Ocean.

Officials in Tokyo said they reserved the right to destroy any threatening object in mid-flight, despite North Korean warnings that it would consider such a move an act of war.

"Under our law, we can intercept any object if it is falling towards Japan, including any attacks on Japan, for our security," Takeo Kawamura, the chief cabinet secretary, told reporters...

You're joking right ? I'm surprised that you don't have yet to pay just to enter their shops...

(I have yet to know how much I spend there on aluminum profile... It's the only shop with 'round' thickness i/e 1mm 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 and so on... while other shops seems to have only -drunk- imperial measure. 0.7, 1.2... )

This guy is nuts, what good is mock-missiles as deterrents if North Korea doesn't even know about them? Thanks for demonstrating to the world that you were willing to spend that amont of money on the stupidest idea in the world.
I am not really sure where I am going, I just hope that when I get there, I can sit down because I am sure my feet will be tired.
