Well, Hudson (played by Bill Paxton) was a whiner, but it was Gorman (along with Vasquez) who went out hugging a grenade.
Hudson got dragged through the floor and was presumably eaten, shredded, etc. immediately thereafter.
Almost 20 years old, but still a damn fine movie. The weasely role Paul Reiser was born to play. Lance Hendriksen was perfect as Bishop, and Vasquez - someone said "aliens" and she thought they said "illegal aliens" and signed up.
Indeed it is. I sat down with the director's cut DVD and went through the movie, commentary and most of the bonus stuff this weekend. Biggest surprise was that "Vasquez" isn't hispanic. Her real name is Jenette Goldstein.
