This thread seems to have been hijacked off of Mr. Gumo's plight.

Nosing around I did come across this mention of a Greg Gumo in this book
Bad and Beautiful: Inside the Dazzling and Deadly World of Supermodels
By Ian Halperin

This passage refers to Mr. Gumo as the store owner in 1999. If he is 41 now, 16 years ago he would have been a 25-year-old store owner. Sounds a little odd, but. . . .

Amanda McCullen is a striking, flaxen-haired supermodel who was represented by the DNA agency. She’s been linked romantically to several well-known models and actors, including Matt Dillon. In 1999, McCullen was accused of shoplifting by the storeowner of a downtown New York boutique. The owner, Greg Gumo, claimed that McCullen came to his Fiend boutique-art gallery on Orchard Street on June 17 with two female friends named Sage and Graph. Gumo said that McCullen walked out with about $1,500 worth of the latest imported Japanese fashions. McCullen and Sage, who is the former girlfriend of rap star Q-Tip, used to work for Gumo in a postcard business in Miami. McCullen asked Gumo to reimburse her money that she felt he owed her, but Gumo responded that he didn't owe her a dime. Gumo claims that McCullen brought her pit bull into the shop to threaten him. After McCullen refused to leave the shop, Gumo called the police. At that point, Gumo said, McCullen took shirts, pants, and skirts right off the racks and made a quick exit. When an officer from the Seventh Precinct arrived about twenty minutes later, he and Gumo drove around looking for McCullen but were unable to find her.

Later, McCullen was tracked down by reporter Jared Paul Stern of the New York Post, and offered a completely different explanation. “He’s just insane,” McCullen told Stern. “I'm not the type of person to steal anything. He [Gumo] owes me about $2,000 from Miami, so I went by there and told him he should give me clothes- not that I'd ever wear any of that stuff anyway. But I've lived in this neighborhood for eleven years, and he must be crazy if he thinks I'd steal like that. And besides, my clog is the biggest baby in the world.” Gumo said that he intended to pursue the case. He told the New York Post that McCullen had a very cocky attitude. “She thinks she’s above everything, that it’s all a joke, but she’s in trouble now,” Gumo said.

A Seventh Precinct detective who worked on the case was hesitant to put the blame on McCullen. “This is an ongoing investigation,” he said. “All parties involved are going to have to come down to the station for questioning. There's always two sides to everything.” A source close to both Gumo and McCullen reveals that the model was trying to get back at Gumo for not paying her. The source, who requested anonymity, said that Gumo had indeed reneged on several payments he owed McCullen.

Unusual perhaps, but I ran my own small company at 25, and they do call it a boutique shop, which could well be 125 sq. ft. And/Or Mommy & Daddy's money. Or he just lied and was only an employee.
Great detective work, though guys.

So he was promoting parties a major clubs when he was 14? I guess he could have been handing out fliers for events.

All of which points to Gumbo being an inveterate wide-boy, but still no hint as to why he would choose to off his muse.

All that we know about Akitaya is that she had a penchant for bikinis and large sunglasses.

Changing topic a bit... But what do you think his wife will do? Divorce him now, or wait for his insurance policy to pay out when he has that unfortunate accident at the end of a rope? Can his wife divorce him without his consent - since presumably he cannot meet with her at this time?

I don't think life insurance pays out in the event of capital punishment, but there must be a procedure to proceed with a divorce in such events, and she could just send him the forms and have him sign them. We must also consider the option that maybe she's dumb enough or just faithful enough to stand by him. Unless she was totally hoodwinked she must have married him partly because he is so Kawai-So / Taihen-So friendly (as a lifelong Professional Looser)

It's too bad she's on the Birkenau Beauty programme, cause I quite like that type of pretty face, and it wouldn't be hard to measure up to her previous husband...............Do we know if she is the mother of said children, or could those be from a previously grifted wife?

No? Apparently suicides actually do get paid out if they have had the policy for a certain length of time, but surely being convicted of a capital crime would negate any policy? The logic being that he couldn't have collected in any event after the conviction barring exoneration and resumption of a normal life.

He says toats blowing smoke from his purple patooty. :?: :biggrin2: This is great fun. I do feel badly for the scarecrow woman, but this is Kimble worthy. It would actually be a nice twist if he did cap himself. That would test the mettle of the hysterics like The Fat Man and CJ. Taking up that gaunlet would be like answering that old question: have you stopped beating your wife?

Another vulnerable foreign prisoner has died in police custody while being held on a charge of murder and depraved indifference. We find it unconscionable that even though he was white and American he was held in an Asian detention by Asians.

Is it quite a big news story there? Has Monkey Monta got onto it yet? Still no mention here outside the Japanese press.

It wouldn't be surprised if that's part if it. Maybe not the FB page but the fact that she was (allegedly) banging a married gaijin ひも.

There is that. That would be enough to condemn her in the the Supreme Court of Baba. I was ready to condemn him just for (allegedly) banging that based on her FB page, never mind killing her, which seems both mean and unwarranted.

Funny because of the old hack joke about the difference between a bitch and a slut. A slut sleeps with everyone and a bitch sleeps with everyone but me.

That's such a double standard between men and women.

She's a bitch/slut just means she acts like an average guy when it comes to sex, or doesn't fuck half the dudes in a bar and instead uses shit like Skout and Tinder to find them.

It took me f'in years to figure out that bitch meant slut. I could never figure out why guys would criticise the personality of perfectly pleasant and lovely women that happened to want a bit and didn't mind getting it, and assumed that the latter was sufficient reason to claim she was of an unpleasant disposition, which I always thought was grossly unfair and sexist. It was a serious mystery. Fortunately, not thinking they were bitches I was only too happy to find out they were sluts, so it all worked out. And no, I don't think they really were sluts.........

Well put, inflames. My only reservation is she's physcially yucky. And the fact that she mentioned getting an Antique Hamilton on her FB page. People that post their fashionista consumeralia rank even lower than people that post their F'in lunch.
