The pittance ads would bring in wouldn't offset the increased moderation effort needed... Anyway have you looked closely at the URL, and then at the terms and conditions of Adsense & co?

Probably just another frustrated Gaijinpot Napoleon venting the spleen we pissed into when he showed up at the Ole Ranch. The good enough ones usually mellow out and learn to get along like GomiGirl requested, so let's at least give the frustrated Stalinite his chance.

Kurogane is a brand name that does attract its detractors, though discerning consumers are often flabbergasted as to why

Anyhoo, Yanpa................yeah, I would say we're talking about 10-12 people here, not an outright flood. But if your gut says no, then say the word. I have always obeyed the Iron Tentaclause, if memory serves.

Yo, kuro, Conker, let's lay down some rules now before anybody gets confused about what is OK and not OK. Repeated, off-topic sniping that steers otherwise interesting threads off-course is on the "not OK" list. If this is going to keep happening (and I think I can already see it is), there are a few ways we can manage this. Can I suggest one of the following:

1) You guys just knock it off.

2) We can set up a nice play area for you guys in the Beyond F*cked forum, and you can voluntarily keep your argument there.

3) We can set up a nice play area for you guys in the Beyond F*cked forum, and you can involuntarily keep your argument there (I think our supreme leader, the tentacled one, will be happy to arrange this).

4) We can set up a nice play area for you guys on another message board..

I am going to proactively start a thread based on idea #2 above. I think you'll be most happy with that choice. Give me a few minutes to think of a clever title (but I'm not drunk tonight, so I might fail in this endeavour.....)

The title almost lured me in, and certainly made me go MRFL, but as I noted at the end of that long goodbye above, I vote for your option #1. I have unilaterally knocked one off before, if I remember, and if I find any more videos of Noriko Kijima, I might well do it again.

Thanks for the slap to the head though.

Hey man,

I can't seem to register an avatar, and Gawd No, She be Not Me. I don't think I ever had a parallel ID on GP. It's just that silly trollgurl that has been around for a few months. She was Raspberry Jam and a few other similar Sooper Genki Newby Question Trolls, starting last spring or so. I sort of enjoy her schtick; at least it's harmless.

BTW, that avatar of yours on here is more than gross enough for the 2 of us ;)

How does everybody feel about discreet introductions of this site to a few good FGs from GP?

Since opinions on what makes for Good vary widely, I'll list a few examples: Ume, Esoteric, Brown Cow, Cucashopboy, that sort of middle range mellow groover.

I thought it would be proper to ask first........................

I'll try to overlook the fact I was excluded from said list, Herr Kurogane!

As for the rest, I'm Agitator, and I like adverbs.

FG is also a long running community with it's own ecosphere, unwritten rules and politics so rather than just picking up where you left off from GP, hang out for a while and join the FG community in the same spirit as you find here. Mostly we are a friendly bunch but like most communities, we like things the way they are.

And if they don't obey us, there is always the reeducation camp...

Seconded. Older members I appeal to you - try to find it in your hearts to welcome a bit of diversity. As clever, droll, witty and knowledgeable as you all are, surely you can see that that some new blood can offer something?

Kuro, are you sure you know who "Conker" is? I think he is someone else and he is more than just fine. And it was just a joke that was taken too seriously. I could be wrong on that but .......

Yeah, fair enough eh!??? Assuming we keep it to this thread and that it will fade rather quickly as we are assimilated, hopefully it won't lead to bad blood.

And as you say, you're not interested anyways. We're speaking Martian now, but we'll learn Get Fucked soon enough.

Yep, good point, starting new topics.

If you new guys don't know what topic to start, try a topic on some funny news.

What a shame. Well, most conspiracy theories (rather like sexual fantasies) turn out that way, don't they. Was and is all better in the imagination. Plus up there in the grey matter doesn't get you in trouble.

I had a wonderful idea that it was all a clever change in authorial voice, the over-sincerity a mask for the masked irony of the previous KG. Whatevs.

As for that avatar? Not even half as gross as the one I tried but was denied. One day when I have more time, I'll resize it and release it upon the world!

Problem is, that's not new blood... Choko and others were new blood. But here, it's just old blood spilling from a clogged loo. They were a community, had there been any interest in their community for FG members, they would have registered in GP too... If they come as individuals, ok, if they come as community/bromance/frat house... Fuck'em...

I sense the force is strong in this one.

I was a member of the 'pot for quite a while and bore witness to the many petulant hazings bully boy kurogane dished out on hapless potters. He wasn't always wrong, mind, but tended to wade in with his blunderbuss when what was required was the surgeon's knife.

Just ask KansaiBen.

On second thoughts, scratch that.

So, having been forcibly evicted from my sand pit, I got the irresistible urge to tweak the tail of the tiger for old time's sake; one last hurrah, so to speak.

I am always all for Shiratama Dango, and she gets my welcome vote, but there is an important difference between grabbing your ankles and simply not being a Napoleonic cuss.

This isn't GP. Hopefully some will find it amusing that it was me that felt the need to point that out.
