Koizumi Won't Seek Another Term

Postby FG Lurker » Wed Jan 19, 2005 3:57 pm

Japan's Koizumi Says He Will Step Down by September Next Year

Jan. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi said he will step down by September next year. Speaking today at a news conference in Tokyo, he said he won't seek another term as prime minister. Koizumi declined to endorse anyone as a successor.

That was the entire blurb... Short but a bit of a jolt. So who's going to replace Koizumi?

The question should not be who should replace him...... it really should be how can they outdo that hairdo and win the hearts of the sexually deprived housewives of japan?????

The answer to that question is very very easy:

Yong-sama!

The LDP might have a few issues with him though. ;)

HMM that would be an interesting experiment..............I'd say there is some rule about the japanese PM having to be japanese though.........doubt they would bend the rules for a Korean(?) reguardless of his female pulling qualities

Looks like the foreign press in Japan will have to run around trying to find out who's who in Japanese politics again. They hate having to do that.

I think I can understand why they would hate that... I think I'd sooner die a painful death than have to spend days talking to Japanese politicians or trying to dig up information on them...
