why thin eyebrows were banned in Judo competitions?

Because they were causing the opponent displeasure! Duh. Can't they just violently slam their opponents into the ground and attempt to choke the life out of them without the harm inflicted by the evil eyebrows? Is that too much to ask?

I'm a jujutsu guy myself. Well, kind of, I only studied it informally for a year or so. Anyway, I'm not a fan of the sportification of combat arts, and that's what Judo is.
