March 19th - The Big Gig 2005

Postby DJEB » Thu Mar 17, 2005 1:45 pm

On March 20th there will be a big anti-war demo and march starting in Hibiya Park around 12:30pm. If you haven't been to a demo in Japan, its like a big festival and there is a zero risk of being gassed or whacked with a truncheon.

You mean collect welfare? ;)

What war are we talking about anyway? Isn't Iraq an 'occupation' at this point? Or, are they protesting the possible US-Iran war?

Forget the whole Anti-war protest. That's old school baby!

Gotta get with the times. The Bush admin. realizes everyone has gotten wise to the whole invading thing so they have a new plan...... control the developing country economies to force democratic change....to then stamp out terrorism.
F*ckin brilliant!
It's was so obvious!
Why else would Wolf-o-hisssss be nominated to lead the World Bank?! article here

Time to upgarde the protest to Anti-World Bank and it's pending hegemony.

I am getting nostaligic for the anti-war thing already.....

I haven't heard anything about that. But then again, I only care that worldpeacenow.jp has the info regarding the event.
