Ricoh Company, Ltd. today unveiled its new corporate logo, which will become effective in September this year. The new logo symbolizes the Ricoh Group's increased global presence. The rounded edges of the new logo were designed to express intelligence tempered by a friendly and human disposition. At the same time readability on a global scale is greatly enhanced.

New? I've seen this logo in advertisements here in the US for months and months.

If they wanted to do themselves a favor in the corporate image department, they should change their name to something that doesn't sound like 'recall'. :D

Interesting. A few guys I knew from Canon were moving to the U.S. to help increase market share due to the recent growth of Ricoh among others.

Both the global and US web sites still use the old logo.
