Cop training 101

Postby dimwit » Mon May 16, 2005 12:03 am

Ok here is a quiz folks

When chasing a fleeing suspect you should:

a) try to apprehend the suspect.

b) contact the office to see if car theft is a crime.

c) use you walkie talkie to find what the score in Giants games is.

TAJIMI, Gifu -- A senior police officer whose much younger partner later had his gun stolen Friday lost sight of one of those involved in the theft because he was talking into his walky-talky, police said Saturday.

The thief was apparently able to use the extra time afforded to him to use his mobile phone to call a friend for help.

When the friend arrived, he attacked the 23-year-old officer pursuing his pal. They stole the younger officer's loaded service revolver and fled by car. They remain at large.

Cop lost gun thief while chatting on walky-talky

This is getting tiring, we really need to start a Keystone Cop Sticky thread.

many cases but no ketstone thread

The Kanagawa prefectural police on Thursday arrested two of its police sergeants
A man slipped out of the ropes tying him to a seat in an interrogation room at a Tokyo police station. He was soon recaptured, but again he managed to free himself from handcuffs inside the station.

Keep that in mind when they arrest you for suspected fooliganism - it's okay to escape.
Japanese Police Arrest Eco-Activists Filming Dolphin Roundup[/b]

Three members of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society have been arrested while using video and still cameras to document a dolphin roundup in Taiji, Japan. The three eco-activists are reportedly being held by Japanese police. Taiji is located on the south part of mainland Japan, near Osaka.
....The slaughters are also seen as a way to eliminate non-human competition for the plummeting fish stocks.... Although dolphin meat is highly toxic with industrial pollution, it can be passed as prized whale meat and sold on the open market. Other dolphin products include pet food and fertilizer.

Hey, CS. Here's one for ya. Right in our backyard.. Which do you prefer: Saitama murderers, or Kanagawa cops?

The judge was not convinced. He rejected police claims that the left-handed man shot himself while holding a gun in his right hand and added, "A man who wanted to kill himself would not have fired the gun some 25 centimeters away from his body."

Police officials could not hide their shock.

"That's not possible," a National Police Agency (NPA) senior official uttered after learning the Yokohama District Court ruling.

"I'm sure there was a suicide note or something. A police officer would never shoot a suspect," another top NPA official said.
Only gaijin cops could do such a thing!!

At around 11:40 a.m. on Thursday, four officers placed Li in a police car after taking him to a local hospital to undergo treatment for his gunshot wounds, police said. The officers got out of the vehicle to move him into a wheelchair when he suddenly jumped into the driver's seat and drove away.

And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
