Reuters: Japan's Kikkoman to end Del Monte supply deal
The Board of Directors of Del Monte Pacific Limited announces that it has received a notice from Kikkoman Corporation to end the Group's long-term supply contract with Kikkoman on 30 June 2008. The Contract was entered with Kikkoman in 1992 and is terminable at anytime by either party giving three years' prior notice. The parties have affirmed that they will continue to observe, perform and discharge their respective obligations under the Contract during such notice period.

Kikkoman handles all the processed foods for Del Monte. The fruit is handled directly by Fresh Del Monte Japan.
