I'm sorry to say that place is a slum. It could be restored to it's "former" glory and it would be a dump. Yokohama "Red Brick Warehouses" were restored...80% of the bricks were reset and the interiors were improved to the point they now are semi-usable---only semi-usable because the final cost and rental for stores does not begin to cover the zillion yen a year loss on the investment. The open space provided by the Reb Brick Warehouses does make it worthwhile but this Osaka slum school doesn't offer that advantage.

By 1989, Aijitsu Elementary School had just 47 students and it was forced to integrate the following year with nearby Kaihei Elementary School.
