It's an Electromylogram that sends plused charges through the muscles and then records the body's reaction (in my case non-reaction). You'll have to google "3-channel" and "4-channel" to find out where the electrodes (needles) can be stuck -----you really don't ever want to know. Pervs use it on each other for fun.

I think i had one used on me the first time i went to a gym to measure my body-fat... i was just below average. Alas, I never did join that gym and several thousands of pints, cocktails, shots and bottles of wine later im now slightly over average..... maybe ill wait till ive stored up a decent amount and get lipo when im in my 30s - to get real value for money ... and once thats done i can oil up and have Swedish airhostesses use that machine on various parts of my body for my sick sick pleasure ... or ill just go eat some chocolate

Unlikely. EMG is used to diagnose nerve damage or neuromuscular diseases like ALS, not to measure body fat.
