"The Japanese detention centers serve to psychologically compel the detainees to leave the country at their own expense. The pressure from being detained indefinitely drives many detainees to attempt suicide.
The Japanese Government often uses violence against and drugs detainees when forcibly removing them. Violence is a daily occurrence in detention centers, and many women are raped. Access to adequate health care for sick detainees is prevented. "
The only thing I can come up with is reaching these people before they end up in these centers. I know of many illegal folks personally who live in constant fear of being caught, but hesitate to come forward because they don't know what will happen to themselves if they do. Just hiding out and hoping they don't get caught is not good either. You can't tell them to 'just go home' that's a cop out. Protesting in front of the MOJ is ok for publicity.
Wish I could do more.
Any suggestions?
Stay on the bomb run boys. I'm goin' to get them doors open if it hare lips everybody on Bear Creek.
