The Sanaa office's architects Kazuyo Sejima & Ryue Nishizawa from Tokyo will build the Louvre II at 200 km north from Paris.

i can't wait until the West finally gets over its love affait with Japanese architects.
the new MOMA in NYC is one of the worst buildings I've ever worked in; poor is design and handling of people. I can only imagine how crummy the Louvre 2 will be. every other Japanese architect designed building I've been to (outside of Japan) is just as bad.
there's nothing inherently wrong with J-Architects, they just don't seem to know how to design spaces for the Western bodies and habits.
