Raid Shuts Down International Drug Ring in Jacksonville
Local and Federal Authorities say they have put a stop to an international drug ring that has ties to the First Coast...Police say two Jacksonville Japanese restaurants were operating as the hubs of the local ring...Sumo Sushi and Little Japan were places where ecstasy, marijuana, cocaine and cash would be dropped off and picked up. "Profits from the sale of these drugs were enormous. This money was taken back out of here, smuggled to Canada and ultimately Vietnam," says Randy Bohman, Special Agent in Charge, DEA.
