Mainichi: Japan's food commission finds U.S. beef safe, sends report to gov't ministries
Japan's food commission approved a report Thursday finding American beef as safe for consumers as Japanese beef, paving the way for the government to ease its two-year-old ban on U.S. beef....Media reports say the ban could be eased as soon as next Monday....more...
Any restaurant using US beef will be required to meet strict new access regulations...
