Then again, it's not hard to see the course taking off with both sexes, particularly because it will represent one of the few opportunities when men here change their usual stance of preferring that women keep their mouths shut.
Who are these Mainichi WaiWai writers anyway? Just smartassed, bilingual kids that someone gave a journalism job to? Is part of the interview process to tell the most sophomoric joke you can possibly think of or something?

If you read a little closer, these WaiWai guys (it's usually just Marvin Feltcher, but sometimes they get pieces from other people) are just summarizing and translating what they read in the men's weekly magazines (usually just pulp trash awash in sexism and racism).

For example, this article was summarized from the weekly "Friday" (from over three years ago... Marvin must be on vacation).

So I would hardly call this journalism... how about "sensationalized translation"? :wink:
