Japanese Premier to Visit North Korea in Sign of Thaw
B.S. North Korea will extort tons of food for the benefit of a photo op:Japan's Prime Minister announced today that he would travel to North Korea next month for a summit meeting, a significant step toward ending the North's half century of isolation.
So the smart thing to do would be to wait it out, and not bring on more missile tests by giving them food as a disincentive for change."Their economic stagnation is a very serious problem for the survival of the regime," said Selig S. Harrison, a North Korea expert at the Center for International Policy, a Washington research institute. "The real driving force is that North Korea has an economy that is stalemated, that once depended on Russia and China for energy and food."
