Nor can I imagine the mindset of a person that does, ESPECIALLY if they are married.

Every guy pays for sex.

You either pay for it as a business transaction, or you pay for it with your time plus stuff like presents and dinners.

That guy who is married and paying 100,000 a pop to try to get laid is pathetic. He must be either really ugly, really old, or stink. Or maybe all of the above. He should spend the money on himself instead -- he'd feel a helluva lot better AND get more sex.

meh, if you're married you *are* paying for it, and quite often as is the case with japanese banks, your return on investment can be damn near 0%.

of course there are other benefits to marriage, i just can't seem to recall what the hell they were..

One of them turned into a stalker. Was the worst experience of my life as far as women goes. I didn't pay monetarily but I sure as hell paid mentally.

Well, since so many guys have said it I guess it may be true – most guys have to pay for sex. Thank God I’m not one of them.

Perhaps I just set my sights a wee bit higher than you do. Or maybe spending a bit of money for an evening out doesn't bother me, and I enjoy the dinners as well as the "desserts". I'm not willing to spend 100s of thousands of yen like the guy in the original article but 20,000yen for dinner is no big deal. (Then again, maybe the guy in the original article makes 10x what I do so 200,000yen means to him what 20,000 does to me. It's all relative.)

But I say you don’t have to pay for it. In fact I haven’t paid for it in many years. (I used to pay for it when I was a teenager when I thought that dinners and gifts would gain me entre.) And here you are still paying for it…
