A pistol and illegal drugs have been sent to the Tokyo headquarters of the Yomiuri Shimbun, prompting a police investigation.
A wooden box was sent to the Yomiuri Shimbun on May 15. A gun and plastic bags were in the box. The bag contained one gram of a stimulant drug and two grams of the drug ketamine, according to police.
A letter in Chinese was also in the box. It said that a former gangster seized a huge amount of drugs from a Hong Kong organization and that an organized crime group in Tokyo's Shinjuku district is in possession of guns. (Mainichi)
