Lee Kuan Yew On Japan's Irrational, Ancient Culture

Postby Mulboyne » Wed Oct 10, 2007 6:44 pm

Here's a snippet from an interview with Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore's first prime minister:

"You look at the Japanese, I remember their parents. After their defeat, they had great leaders not just in politics but in business at every level. They travel, they work, and they sold their goods like mad to rebuild Japan. Now you look at them ... You look at the younger generation, will they work like some of the fathers did? I don't think so, but in a corner will they do it again? I think yes because it's a deeply-imbedded culture. They will fight. That's the difference between an ancient culture and a new one. Theirs is embedded, ours is not. At the same time that ancient culture is preventing them from making rational decisions about migration, immigration and meeting the problems of ageing."

Lee saw the Japanese army first hand in Singapore in 1942 and wrote about them in his memoirs:

"After seeing them at close quarters, I was sure that for sheer fighting spirit, they were among the world's finest. But they also showed a meanness and viciousness towards their enemies equal to the Huns'. Genghis Khan and his hordes could not have been more merciless."

This feature is common with not only Japanese but also all mongoloid.
The most mean and vicious dudes towards their enemies are Chinese and Korean.
Japanese are 3rd.

While Take-kun is probably an FG & a troll, I know a FuckedNihonjin living in Canada who usually writes quite eloquently, but can be goaded into rants remarkably similar to our little Kiku-head.
