Yamaguchi Gumi Supports The DPJ

Postby Mulboyne » Fri Oct 12, 2007 4:46 am

A short piece on ZakZak (Japanese) alleges that some Yamaguchi Gumi affiliates were notified from above to support the DPJ. Since the yakuza gangs have had a fruitful relationship with the LDP over the years, police believe it is possible that they are looking to keep their options open for the future.

Lobbyists, power players, corporations, yakuza...what's the difference? They all corrupt the political process with money to influence.
