Sony implicated in software piracy

Suck it Sony. Suck it long and suck it hard.


Compared with;

Jennifer Pariser, the head of litigation for Sony BMG comments last year on copying music files onto your computer...

Gabriel asked if it was wrong for consumers to make copies of music which they have purchased, even just one copy. Pariser replied, "When an individual makes a copy of a song for himself, I suppose we can say he stole a song." Making "a copy" of a purchased song is just "a nice way of saying 'steals just one copy'," she said.

Yeah. And, anyway, they only did it because they were looking out for their artists' best interests. So, in fact, to punish them would be to punish the artists! Won't anyone think about the artists! ;-)

The poor, starving artists in their 15 bedroom mansions. I've heard some of them may not even be able to afford heating for their indoor pools this year!

Yeah, its too bad hypocrisy isn't flammable. If it was Sony might be able to help them all out cause they've got bucketloads.

I have to admit I like your interpretation of the Japanese theater one. I haven't seen the U.S. DVD one. I can't remember the last time I actually handled a physiscal DVD outside data filled DVDs for the PC :D:D
