Gaijin With Guns

The Mainichi reports (Japanese) that eyewitnesses reported seeing two foreigners carrying guns walking around Rokunohe in Aomori prefecture. They apparently drove off in red-brown SUV. One man was said to be thin and black while the other was white and wearing sneakers. They were sighted around 400m from a residential condominium block and local residents said that they were worried "what with all the incidents recently".

So did anything happen ? Were they real guns ?
I guess they're being cautious, but a 65 year old lady rings up, says she
send foreigners with guns. The police send out 数十台 cars.
Fuck me dead. That's a fucking brilliant use of resources.
Then again, they've got brilliant descriptions. Skinny black guy and a white guy.
Shit - they'll just arrest everyone on suspicion.

Other than AO wanting to tidy up a few loose ends, I like the fear mongering idea as a very good possibility....

Mulboyne, do you know if FGs can get gun licenses in Japan? I think I have heard that the police can refuse you a license for pretty much any reason they want. Perhaps skin pigment or lack of Yamato-damashi.
