Some Awa City middle school art club students have made a diorama for their local culture festival. It is a parody of the Last Supper, featuring a clay model of Fukuda, on the eve of his resignation, surrounded by several of Japan's former prime ministers and Aso, the current incumbent.

This is impressively clever for a bunch of middle-school kids. Or do you suppose their teacher came up with the concept and just left the execution to the students?

Not used to seeing incisive political satire from children.
