There's lots of replica statues of liberty all around kansai. He thinks he's found the only one. Newb.
Mr Kobayashi: First, I experienced a sort of overpowering feeling whenever I was in the room with foreigners, not to mention a powerful body odor coming from them. I don't know whether it was a sweat from the heat or a cold sweat, but I remember I was sweating whenever they were around.

If he is talking about the statue I think he is talking about it's on top of a love hotel isn't it??
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

no, i don't think it's a love hotel, those are about 6 blocks south of sankakukoen. am pretty sure it's an office that it's on. it's just a few blocks from me though, next time i pass by i'll look.

interesting article though.

Can't remember where it is exactly, been a while since I was in Amemura. But I have seen one on a love hotel before. I think it might be in tani-9? ;-)

LOL There is a good sided one on top of a love hotel on rt17 in (I think) Gyoda, saitama. I have seen another (small, human sized) one in Kasukabe, Saitama outside a random club that has been painted black. I am willing to bet that there are at least 200 of them in japan.

Yeah, I've seen 'em in deepest, darkest inaka marking the nearest exit to "abeku".

I think the statue in Odaiba in Tokyo is one of the two "official" replicas, the other one being in Paris near "Pont Mirabeau". Am I mistaken ?

Statues of Liberty adorn countless love hotels in the Kansai region. I guess it must be the mark of a 'chain-ten'.

The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak.

Osaka swings Take! Like some many Tokyoites, you just can't bring yourself to admit it. It used to be great moose hunting around Namba and Shin town, at least until Cyka showed up and we were declared PNG....

how about this, take? we'll trade you osaka for kuril islands.

it'll give us a better starting ground for when we just take all of honshu.

oh wait, osaka's already got quite a few russians here, weakening the society by draining their wallets for a quick glimpse of pure white pussy. i've heard that even the site of it makes japanese men drop to their knees and become temporarily unable to speak or move. and japan's in recession now, so it won't be long before japan comes begging to russia for a loan or a bit of oil and coal to convert to electricity to keep powering those electric toilet seat warmers.

nevermind, we'll keep the kurill islands and just take honshu too.

ps...the osaka guy you reference, take, in the hit and run. at least he can claim that he was out of his mind drunk. osaka people don't do things like that unless they are under the influence of something. what was the excuse of the guy who ran a truck into akihabara and just randomly started knifing people? i believe it was 'i'm tired of life'. keep vulgar, filthy, non-excusably random violent tokyo dudes out of kansai.
