As part of the "Yokoso Japan" promotion, the ministry has an English language map on its website showing the nation's main airports. Kobe, however, doesn't get a mention. The Ministry explains that the page was set up in the summer of 2005 and has not been updated in all that time. Kobe Airport was only established in 2006 and so was not included in the original design. They go on to say that they are considering updating the map to include Kobe but, since it will cost money, no timetable has yet been fixed.

kansai should just be totally removed from the yokoso japan campaign full stop, since there is nothing yokoso at all about landing into KIX.
