SULPHUR, La. -- Authorities said a 20-year-old man stabbed a dog to death on New Year's Eve using a Samurai sword.
Aaron D. Simoneau was at the home of an acquaintance when he allegedly stabbed the miniature chod mix named Puppy.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's deputies arrested Simoneaux on Monday.
He is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
