Barack Obama Beer Garden In Osaka

[floatr]Image[/floatr]The Hankyu Top Beer Garden has just opened on top of the Hankyu terminal building in Osaka with a heavy Obama theme. Apart from the slogans and pictures, you can also get some Obama "change" noodles from a stall which have the gimmick that they change colour when you add various spices. Personally, I would have thought former Finance Minister Nakagawa would make a better poster boy for a beer garden with an all-you-can-drink plan.

..in keeping with the theme, the beer garden will advertise all-you-can-eat Kobe beef, 25 world-champion microbrews on tap, and an on-call staff of hot, yet talented, nurses to assist for any ill effects of overconsumption.

Within the first 100 seconds, those who chose the Obama beer garden will realize none of the promised things are true.

There are no refunds, but as a consolation, the staff will demand triple the normal payment from the "richest" 4 people in your party. They won't use it offset YOUR bill though, they'll just keep it for themselves.

Maybe you need to learn how to read the menu, or stay longer than 100 seconds to reap the benefits of all-you-can-drink; you usually get 2 hours. :p

Unfortunately a certain segment of the population is unable to stretch their attention spans longer than 100 seconds...
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
