yes that is macaroni and cheese. it is macaroni in a cheese sauce, looks like with melted cheese on top (cause AMERICA!) and I imagine that may me dill or chive sprinkled on it (to make it more of an "adult" dish i guess).
Mac for macaroni, just elbow noodles really. Its good in the way any plate of pasta in a cheese sauce is good. Comfort food, high calorie, hot and gooey. (the cheese sauce is fairly thick)
The only thing to worry about is your waistline. The cheese sauce is a beschamel (sp) sauce with usually cheddar added, though you can use almost any soft-medium cheese for it.
That is a far cry from boxed junk in the supermarket, though being its at Denny's...well, the sauce probably comes from a can (in the US at least, YMMV in J-Land).

Ok, bechamel with cheeze... That's a hunger killer...
(That or my regular bechamel is too much on the heavy side...)

Always add nutella...
Got a highschool buddy who dipped camembert in nutella... Lucky for her she stored fat only in her boobs... Everywhere else you could tally her bones trough her t shirts... Like a sexy undead...
