I plead the 5th...do they have that in Japan? Ok, cosmically, I plead the 5th regarding not remembering anything from 1987-1990.

The conspiracy theorist in me is wondering just how many controversial new regulations are being rammed through while there's no chance of anyone reporting it? Maybe some new voting restrictions designed to keep non-LDP voters away from the polls?

WASHINGTON, DC—With the nation safely distracted by the NBA playoffs, Congress passed the terrifying Citizenship Redefinition And Income-Based Relocation Act of 2003 with little opposition Monday.
I have a blog. Last update: August 18, 2013.

Yaku-P pee test result

Postby IkemenTommy » Sun Aug 09, 2009 7:31 pm

The result for Yaku-P's urine test for drugs is out: negative

I guess she outsmarted the cops this time around and gotten away with it. We'll see her appearance soon on one of the fall tv drama series.

They probably won't take this any further than a piss test.

She was probably was drinking massive amounts of liquids and working out at the same time. (To sweat)

If the J cops follow the standard procedure, then she would be subjected to take hair samples, but TIJ.

I don't believe they are allowed to take hair or other samples after a negative test has been returned. They must take all specimens before the results are in, or they will need a new probable cause for any subsequent tests.

I will stand corrected, but that was the way it used to be for collection of body specimens for evidential purposes.

Must be tough for these geinojin. They are constantly in the public eye, worked about as hard as the average salaryman, can't even have one bad day in ten thousand and scowl at a camera - or their agency will probably drop them, and the kind of work they're expected to do is probably about as interesting as "teaching English". Aokigahara was/is probably looking pretty good to Nori-pi...:noose:

The cops are now looking for a "motive" as to why she tried drugs.
A motive ffs...not a reason.

From a government who produced and forced consumption of amphetamines to one that now incarcerates users....what a joke.

So now she has admitted to doing drugs on a "few" occasions, after being encouraged by her husband.

Ah, there it is: "I didn't get into it of my own will, honest! I was pressured ... oh boo-hoo-hoo, poor lil' innocent me ... corrupted by all the evil people around me ..."

Yeah right.

Well, I think her husband threw her under the bus, so it's a fair cop.

Did he actually point the finger at her, or did the cops simply get suspicious when she fled the scene and then disappeared?

Either way, there's a couple who's relationship is based solidly on mutual trust.

She just got herself indicted, WTF was that lawyer with her for? With no physical evidence and no confession, she walks. It doesn't matter what her old man says.

Her husband is just coming of worse and worse. He lied about being a pro surfer, he rats on his wife to cover his own ass, and when there's no evidence he talks her into confessing anyway. Fucking scum of the Earth.

Fuckin J-boy. He must be Takechan's kind.

It's all good. I hope I see Yaku-P at Ageha high on E the next time. I'll slip some roofie in her drink and she'll be easier than a Big Mac.

He's also doing the "got the drugs from a foreigner" line.

In this case, it would be the NKorean pipeline through Nori-pi's estranged Yak brother's entourage.

Nope. Most of the J talk shows boys are calling him a scumbag also. Not necessarily a J-boy thing.

Better slip her two, she's probably developed tolerance.

Yeah, NHK had their top story list...#6 was that "She bought the drugs from a foreigner". I've got to wonder, are Japanese THAT gullible? Seriously, does the general populace have their heads that far up their asses to buy that tired BS?

Yeah, this is one of my favorites. Instant, easy, blanket absolution from any wrongdoing for all J-people, with no traceability or accountability. Simply kick the source of the problem out into a non-Japanese black hole.

"Oh, well, that figures! If it came from a foreigner there's nothing that can be done about it. We really should avoid contact and keep them out of our country, which was a Shangri-La free of any crime, disease, depravity, and drugs whatsoever before the arrival of the evil foreigner. But since they're already here and the world is watching (damn the Internet!) I suppose the best we can do is round them up and take urine samples ..."

Reminds me of the Nanking-denying goon who, when presented with photographic evidence (i.e. heads of decapitated Chinese POWs defiled in various ways ... like with cigarettes stuck in their mouths) claimed that Japanese people have respect for the dead and would never do such a thing, so the photos must be fakes.

OK, slight digression there, but this "the foreigner did it" bullshit really gets my hackles up.

Edit: But thinking about it, if the husband is prepared to blame the wife, and the wife then turns around and blames the husband, maybe it's not just a foreigner issue. Sort of a "cultural feature?"

If they believe that Yaku-P started taking drugs just last year, then unfortunately, they believe in anything.

It keeps coming up again and again, doesn't it?

I can't believe everyone buys it either, but the fact that they keep trying really pisses me off.

It's a free pass. The 'gaijin' is anonymous, an unknown and unidentifiable person. No pressure to answer further questions about your contacts.

Is there any other country on earth that the "gaijin sold me the drugs" defense works in? Japan is a unique culture, ne.
