[/floatl]A police officer in Hyogo prefecture has been reprimanded for being indiscrete about her work and colleagues on the mixi social network. The officer opened her account in May 2006 and grumbled about how her pay didn't seem to compensate for the daily stress of the job. She also moaned this year about having to hang around for four hours at the site of a fatal traffic accident. Mixi is a private network so her diary could have remained undiscovered but, somehow, a co-worker came across it and reported her. Hyogo police officials say that she undermined public confidence in the force and confirm they have accepted her resignation.
