New meat source? Seriously though, not suprising the thought process there. Old worn out dogs just aren't as much fun as shiney sparkly puppies!

I'm not sure about Japan but America uses euthanized animals as a protien source for dog and cat food.

try to catch one. Any animal control officer will tell you the same thing: they will tangle with the nastiest attack dog long before they try to mess with a cat.
