UOZU, Toyama -- A man's headless body was found here Tuesday afternoon in a car at a parking lot, police said, amazingly adding that his death could have been a suicide.

The man's head was found at the feet of his body, which remained strapped into the driver's seat by a seatbelt.

The engine of the rented car was still running and the vehicle had slammed into a wall of the parking lot.

A rope lying outside the car may lead to revealing the details surrounding the death of the man, who appeared to have been in his 50s. Police said some sort of knife or sharp object had not been used to sever the man's head.

No suicide note has been found. (Mainichi Shimbun, Feb. 11, 2003)

I know how he did it.
He had a friend tie the rope around his neck, it was a real long rope, maybe 400 meters..The friend was in another car, while the man was in his rental..The friend tied the other end of the rope to the bumper of his car..the two drove separate ways. The man's head came off, the rope broke. fell to the ground near where the man wrecked his car into the wall... the friend then moved all the rope over to near where the man wrecked and left the scene.

Nuh - his head would have ended up in the back seat if this was the case.. and how would the rope go through the back windshield?

Maybe he just heard a really funny joke!!

...a 54-year-old unemployed man committed suicide in Toyoma City. His way of killing himself was horrible.

The man put one end of a vinyl rope around his neck and tied the other around a tree. He then drove his car and was found with his head and body split.

Actually, when reviewing this, his head would have hit the headrest of the seat, then depending on the speed and trajectory, it might have bounced on the ceiling of the car interior then feel to the floor..

Or it could have bounced off the head rest, reverting back toward the stearing wheel, then finally resting in the floorboard of the vehicle.


Honestly I wonder why the guy decided to end it in this way. Maybe he knew it would make the news..
Who knows, poor guy.

Really sad, can you fathom that depths of despair that would lead someone to do something so unnatural? Perhaps he fixated on it, maybe he lacked the will to jump off a bridge. I hope he is at peace now.

Sorry, but I don't. Suicide is one of the most selfish, sef-centered, spoiled actions there are; Kill yourself, torture EVERYONE around you... What a selfish fuck!
