The Tsunami Strikes Minami Sanriku

Nothing much appears to be happening for the first 2 or 3 minutes of this clip. It looks like the camera might be too far away, Then you start thinking the camera seems too close.

I can't imagine how it must feel to watch your town get obliterated in a matter of minutes. You just hope that everyone made it out alive but we know that's not what happened.

No, that was Minamisoma

Minamisoma is deserted and radioactive. Not sure which is worse because at least Minami Sanriku can rebuild and re-settle. Minamisoma will be spawning Dogzillas for the next millenium.
Spare a drink?

The incredible power just blows my mind... Pretty crushing emotionally too, even when you're half a world away.

Great find Take. A real powerful post!

That is just unbelievable! I don't think I have ever seen people get killed. But I'm sure that some of those people at the bottom of the hill died for sure. Makes me feel really stupid for having gone out to see the second tsunami wash in.
